Hating on Comic Sans
There are probably only a few people who will get why I think this is funny. It has nothing to do with the dogs. I'm not a dog lover of any sort, but I do just hate Comic Sans.

I LOVE SLC
| Me and a Random Kid.... I love SLC! |
Today we went to temple square. It was pretty fun this year because it wasn't too cold and we got to bring my grandpa. We visited the "pink" trees that my mom loves so much and watched the nativity long enough to see them light up the manger. We went to the top of the JSM building which is my favorite way to see the lights. You get to see them all in one swoop and its so WARM! After coming out of the building I noticed the perfect place to snap a few pictures where you didn't have to wait in line to get a shot of the temple. Unfortunately we were in a main walkway so we had a lot of strangers in the pictures. So when we were taking pictures a random kid came and jumped in my picture. After my little sister got over the shock of the stranger jumping by my side and wrapping his arm around me she nervously snapped a picture so he would leave. The look on her shocked face was priceless! As he ran away he yelled, "I love SALT LAKE CITY!" I love Salt Lake City so much that I thought I'd keep the blurry picture to remind me of how much I really do love it. Hopefully next year I will be a really local. The thought alone has me nervous/worried/excited! Merry Christmas to all!

I might like reading too much....
Ever since I was little reading was much more than reading to me. I suppose I couldn't even read yet when I had picked up this small little quirk. My mom often reminds me of when I was 3 or 4 and I would lock the doors to various rooms. When she would ask me to let her in I would pretend to be one of the three little pigs in the story and say "Not by the hairs of my chinney chin chin!" I would refuse to open the doors until she would play along and only then would I let her in. Looking back I'm not so convinced that I didn't really think I was a pig. For some reason when I read a book I forgot that the characters are only pigments of the authors imagination that there is no real Narnia or Hogwarts, because by the time I reached the last page the characters had become my dear friends. I rejoiced with them and cried with them. I hated to accept that the game was really over that their story had to end there. I hate how dull life can be at times with no plot to follow or climax to reach all we have is just mini crises left and right constantly being created and solved. People speak in perfect lines and metaphors because their lines have been rewrote and edited a hundred times over. Sometimes I wish I could jump into one of these books and live with them for a day. Reading is the best adventure. Maybe that's why recently, I've been sorta sad Harry Potter movies have ended. I haven't found a series yet that I loved that much. Twilight was my next series I fell into but with the weird moms and the terrible movies I quickly fell out of love with them and moved on to various cheesy Nicholas Sparks novels. This summer I read Hunger Games and got pretty sucked into them. Right now I'm stuck on reading Hitchhikers I promise I'll finish someday but right now I'm in school mode. Although, after the first book the rest weren't nearly as good. I don't know the point of this post but I hope someone is the same way and I'm not the only one that overly enjoys novels and getting to leave the limits of reality. Anyways, have you seen the Hunger Games Trailer it gave me goose bumps! Have a Happy Weekend!
