Thinking about going off FACEBOOK....again

America's Best Mr. Darcy

It doesn't matter if you are a fan most people have an opinion on who makes the most charming Prince.  Well in this case I'm not refering to any of the Disney Stars, but Jane Austen's famous Mr. Darcy.  About once a week at work I get a call asking if we have the Pride and Prejudice movie with Colin Firth (which in my opinion is SICKand makes me want to gag because
      A. I have to listen to some kooky lady fawn over Colin Firth for the duration of the phone call
      B. I love Matthew MacFadyen as Mr. Darcy and I really hate to hear the haters!  When I read the book I literally saw MacFadyen (PS if you like him rent the BBC version of Little Dorit its all things wonderful!)
      C. I think the recent version cannot be topped because the amazing cinematography and musical scores.

Apparently most people at the library refuse to agree with me.  So I want to put it to a vote who is America's Best Mr. Darcy?

The New Insult

Having a college sister when you are in middle and elementary school is rough!  Seriously I do feel kinda bad for my two little sisters.  I make them run boring erronds with me and on the way they are forced to listen to me monologue about how much I don't need a man and how stressed I am about school in the fall.  The new tortue this week was making them watch the bachelorette with me its no fun with there isn't anyone to talk about it with.  It might not be safe to expose them to so much drama smuttyness and unrealistic realationships at such a young age but HEY its summer and there is absolutely no good tv on at the moment.  I'm not the kind of girl that would typically get wrapped up in such a pop culuture phenomon, but here it is my second bachelorette seasona and I'm hooked again.  It kinda makes me want to vomit in my mouth but the point of this post is not to talk about my uncouth taste in reality TV shows but to explain the new insult at my house.  If by any chance you have been follow this season you'll know what a loser BENTLY from SLC is.  Personally I think he's just another egotistic guy that was happy to bask in his ten minutes of fame on the show.  Well he left the show telling Ashley that it was because he "missed his daughter" but in a personal interview he said that he was the first guy to have played all the guys and the bachelorette and that he didn't find her "attractive" and that she was the type of girl he'd like to hook up with but never develope a serious relationship with he was cocky errogant and really just not a nice person.  I hope the world realizes that we UTAHANS are not U-TARDS!  So a few days a go I was in the kitchen and my littlest sister ran out of the room crying because she had been called to worst insult in the WORLD.  I turned to my older sister and asked what was wrong with her.  She said oh Kay (my second to youngest sister who just celebrated her birthday) just said she was acting like a "Bently" haha I never knew that was about the worst insult you could give a 10 year old girl but you learn something new everyday! I laughed so hard I almost cried.  Its definately time we step away from the reality TV!

I ordered an ELF and it makes me SO happy!

I finally did it I ordered an ELF.....okay so not that kind of an ELF...but Eyes Lips and Face.  They have a little better than Walmart/Target quality make up and the best thing is......its so CHEAP... I mean like good quality brushes for $1... and cute eye shadows for $3...Mascara from $1-3...Nail polish for $1....Lip gloss for $1...The savings are INSANE!  The only thing that stinks is the shipping which runs about $7.50.  Other than that I'm one statistifed customer.  When I got my order I was totally bummed because they had forgot to pack two tubes of mascara instead of one. I sent an email to customer services and about 30 seconds later I had an email back saying that they were sorry for the mix up and that my product would be on its way today! Yep I'm happy especially since it means I can slowly start weening myself off the pricey MAC products for a while.   Well I'm not giving up my foudation or concealer but other than that I'm going for the cheap stuff until I'm done with school!  

A Party Fit For a QUEEN!

This weekend my sweet little sister turned 14! I can barely believe it!  Well with Mom being crazy busy I decided to step up and help with the party planning, decorating, and cake baking all and all I think it went off as a smash!  So here is the cake that me, my sister and little brother made.  It's not too bad for a rookie!  She wanted giraffe print with her colors orange and  blue.  If you look at this whole post you're going to see a lot of it because I'm that proud!

Some of the decor that I made the best part was that it was all so CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! Hopefully it doesn't look it through =]

 So according to the girls at the party we are a "WEIRD" family because we have a tradition that for every candle you don't blow out on the first try you get a boyfriend/girlfriend haha I guess I thought it was just normal until yesterday!  But guess what my little sister said I could have one of hers so I might be getting lucky any time soon hahahah
